The media are at a crossroads as Toni’s latest injury saga continues to drag on.
Toni Kroes’ injury saga has hit a new low as the German international has suffered a shoulder injury in training that will keep him out for several weeks.
Tobi is set to be sidelined until February 6, with the Bundesliga champions hoping that his return in time for the start of the new campaign could be the saving grace for the squad.
However, after failing to make an appearance for Bayern Munich in pre-season, the German has now been ruled out for at least six weeks.
In a recent interview with Bild, Kroes spoke about the injury and said he had been advised not to return to training due to a shoulder issue.
“I don’t know if it is the shoulder, the muscle, the nerve, the bone,” Kroes said.
“It’s not something that can be fixed with surgery or any other kind of surgery, it’s not even something that you can change.”
Kroes admitted he was “really disappointed” and “really hurt” about the situation.
“At the moment, it feels really bad, because it’s something that could have been fixed years ago,” he added.
“For me, it was an accident and I had no idea that something like this would happen.”
And this is a tough time because it was just a bad day.
“Kroles is expected to miss out on Bayern’s trip to the United States on Wednesday, with Bayern’s squad heading to LA to take on LA Galaxy.
