A man who claims his car was hit by a drunk driver is seeking $2,000 from insurance companies after a crash in the parking lot of a local bank.
On Thursday, Robert O’Brien, a 24-year-old construction worker, told police he had been driving home from work when he lost control of his truck, veered into the median and hit the hood of a car.
He then tried to flee the scene, but the truck was dragged.
He says he suffered injuries to his head, arms and legs.
“I was trying to get out of there, I was trying not to be killed,” O’Briensaid.
“I just lost control.
The truck was thrown.

The collision left him with multiple injuries and has left him in a coma.”
A lot of people say it’s like you’re walking into a brick wall, it’s just so bad.
But I’m not,” OBrien said, adding he had no memory of what happened until his family asked for a reward.”
Robert O’Connor said the family wants to know how much the crash could cost, especially if it was caught on video.””
And it’s hard to put into words what that means for them.”
